This is where mom's quote comes into play(hopefully really fast).
So its past midnight on friday and I have to work tommorow. Why am I still awake?
Big Brother 9
Someone once told me that you never completely get rid of your addictions, you just trade them for new ones. Hopefully better ones.
New addictions:
The Ellipticle(one of my more painful)
lifting weights(my favorite)
SlimFast Strawberries and Creme(my breakfast) and...
Big Brother 9(my weekend glimse into...something)
Big Brother is a reality show, or as I like to call it, a social experiment.
The basis: throw twenty or so people into a house that is COMPLETELY cut off from the outside world, tell them to compete on live telivision for 1 Million(Dollars not pesos) and see how they treat each other.
What you get is people that anybody could easily get along with( except the guy from Boston, rudest people in the world!) and turn them into cut-throat citizens ready to sell out there closest friend.
ITS AWESOME!!!
Anyway that, is as they say, that and combined with all my smart allick comments we have a full lid.
oh yeah and I finished making my actual, legal last will and testiment today. Definently a Full Lid!

Sounds like pretty good addictions to me. Even the reality show can teach you how to get along with crazy people.(Oh you already know how to do that--you grew up in this family.)
I have a similar addiction. America's Next Top Model. Stupid, I know, yet I still watch it. It is caddy and silly and other than the very end where I really like to see the pictures, it is pretty much a waste of time. But sometimes I need an escape from the day and that is what does it for me. I figure it could be worse right?
Great addictions! I'm hoping to pick up a couple of them soon :D
Who doesn't have a favorite reality show? That's 1/2 of what is available on TV. Our is Biggest Loser or American Idol. Depends on who is really watching.
Most of your addictions seem pretty healthy for you. You just call those good habits silly. As for the reality shows, I'm not really a fan, but I'm totally addicted to the food network. To each his own. :)
I must admit I had to read this blog twice through. Maybe it's because it was titled Drill weekend and had nothing to do with that. Or maybe I didn't see the "New addictions" part the first read through and was confused at the fragmented chatter.
I'm pleased to report that everything seemed completely normal after I read it again. Maybe I should go to bed.
P.S. This word verification stinks. If you want to change that all you have to do is look through your settings. Sorry, I'm lazy.
Those are great addictions. I wish I was addicted to weight lifting. My favorite TV shows are America's Next Top Model, Biggest Loser, Make Me a Super Model, What Not To Wear, Amazing Race....... I just watch whatever favorite that happens to be on when I get to watch TV. I don't actually follow any of it. I'm interested in the reality TV shows though - it's interesting to see what kind of person will fight for a million dollars, or whatever the prize may be. I like to see who is really dedicated and who I think should be voted off.
Dragon also likes the Food Network and occasionally I will watch it with him. I just wish he would put it to good use (but why would he - I don't put anything I watch to good use).
I agree with Kells. The word verification thingy stinks.
I just tagged you. View my latest blog to see what to do.
